2012: the end ... or the beginning?

Happy 2012!

A new year is a fresh opportunity for re-envisioning our life and our goals. But for many 2012 is a year of portents, prophesy and doom. The Mayan Calendar for example does not record time beyond this year (some say it stopped in November or December last year) and for others 2012 brings the apocalyptic end of mankind.

But is there really such a thing as time even though we talk about it, put clocks up on the wall and for all intents and purposes act completely as though it exists? Particularly the ancient philosophers of India say "no" and even science is now talking about how time might be a construct of the mind.

And even if there is such a thing as time, does it really matter if the end of the world comes soon? We already know that this planet has self-destructed several times and that everything that lives, eventually dies. Does it really matter if man is wiped out - or wipes himself out? Are we really so important?

Regardless of what you think about these questions and how you choose to answer them, life still needs to be lived in the immediate moment. We can do something here and now about the quality of our existence and make the best of what we have, whatever is or isn't going to happen.

A Journey process takes you into the core of your emotions and beyond the personality complex where the root of your problems lies. Here there is no time and we identify neither with our issues nor our ego but the Source from which we come.

In Source anything is possible and there are no limitations, whatever the date or year and whether you are young and old. Let's make 2012 the year where we drop the calendar and our fears about the future and dive into our shining potential instead ...
